About
Independent Fantasy Analysis
The Top Prospect exists to answer one question every week: which players should you actually start, add or trade for — and what is the evidence?
Most fantasy content is written to be published, not to be used. It ranks 200 players without ever saying which of those rankings it is confident about, and it reacts to box scores a week after the underlying role already changed.
We build the board the other way around. Roles first — who is on the field, on which downs, and in which situations. Matchups second. Production last, because production is the slowest-moving signal available and by the time it shows up in a box score, your league mates have already seen it too.

How We Work
01
Usage before narrative
Snap counts, route participation and red-zone opportunity decide our rankings. A player's reputation does not.
02
Say when it's close
Every ranking carries a confidence rating. When a start/sit call is genuinely a coin flip, we say so instead of manufacturing certainty.
03
Show the evidence
Each recommendation names the specific number or matchup behind it, so you can disagree with the reasoning rather than just the conclusion.
04
No invented credibility
We do not publish accuracy percentages, subscriber counts or awards we cannot substantiate. The analysis has to carry the argument.

A note on the data in this build
This is the first release of the product. Player pools, projections, rostered percentages, news items and article content are demonstration data created to exercise the interface. They are clearly labelled throughout and will be replaced when a live data provider and editorial backend are connected. Nothing on this site should be treated as a real projection today.
